Our Story
Nestled along the golden stretch of Serenity Beach — one of South India's finest surf spots — Guru Surf School has been nurturing the spirit of surfing since 2014. The Bay of Bengal gifts us consistent swells from June to September, making Puducherry an ideal year-round surfing destination.
Our instructors are certified, passionate, and local. They know these waters intimately — the tides, the breaks, the best windows to paddle out. Whether you've never touched a board or you're sharpening your cutback, we'll guide you every step of the way.

Courses & Programs
Every surfer starts somewhere. Our structured programs take you from your very first pop-up to carving stylish turns — at your own pace, in a safe and supportive environment.
Never surfed before? Start here. Learn ocean safety, paddling technique, and your first pop-up in calm, waist-deep water with 1:3 instructor ratio.
You can stand and ride — now let's shape your style. Master trimming, cross-stepping, and basic turns with personalised video analysis.
Carving, cutbacks, off-the-lips, barrel riding. One-on-one coaching sessions tailored to your current level and the day's conditions.
